Welcome to The Ulster Folk - Online!

The Ulster Folk – An exciting brand new periodical for the promotion of grassroots arts and culture within Northern Ireland – and to include the other three counties of Ulster.

As the title suggests, there will be focus on folk music – traditional Ulster-Scots, Irish singer/songwriters and aspects of Country, Rock, Gospel, Blues, or any genre that reflects on the culture of the region. It is also for the writers, storytellers, actors and performing artists of any ilk; its for the visual artists, artisans and crafts people; for entrepreneurs who’s work embraces the identity of their land. A platform indeed for all of the above to promote themselves, as well as the festivals, venues and outlets that engage them. An opportunity too for those in Cultural Tourism to further promote the rich heritage and all that the Ulster of today has to offer.
